WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLESOME FOODS?As the Manager/Sr. Manager – Accounts Receivable, you will play a critical role in strengthening Wholsum Foods' cash flow and credit management processes while partnering closely with Sales, E-commerce, Modern Trade, and Finance teams.Key responsibilities include:• Own the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, collections,
and healthy debtor aging.
• Drive collection efficiency by developing and implementing strategies to recover outstanding receivables and reduce overdue balances.
• Partner with Sales, Modern Trade, General Trade, and E-commerce teams to proactively resolve customer disputes, deductions, and payment discrepancies.
• Review customer onboarding processes, assess creditworthiness, recommend credit limits, and ensure adherence to credit policies.
• Monitor debtor positions, conduct regular receivable reviews, and provide actionable insights to leadership on collection risks and opportunities.
• Lead and strengthen credit control processes by identifying opportunities for automation, process improvements, and enhanced reporting.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable/Credit Control team, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline working capital management and improve cash conversion cycles.
• Prepare and present AR performance dashboards, collection forecasts, aging analysis, and recovery plans to senior management.
• Support business growth by balancing commercial objectives with prudent credit risk management practices.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE• 7–10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control,
and Collections, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience managing receivables across General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce channels.
• Prior team management experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and drive performance of AR/Credit Control teams.
• Strong understanding of credit management, customer onboarding, credit limit reviews, collections, and debtor monitoring.
• Experience working with E-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AR ageing, collection strategies, deduction management, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Key Accounts, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, and advanced MS Excel for reporting, analysis, and process management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Demonstrated track record of maintaining process discipline, improving collections, and reducing overdue receivables.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
