Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Software Development to lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud-native application development, people management, Agile methodologies, and Azure cloud services.

The successful candidate will drive technical excellence, ensure timely project delivery, mentor development teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, technical leads, and QA engineers.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development discussions.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture.
- Manage project planning, resource allocation, and sprint execution.

Software Development

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Drive software architecture decisions for scalable cloud solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and software quality.
- Review technical designs and participate in code reviews.

Azure Cloud

- Design and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions.
- Work with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault,



Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
- Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and operational costs.

DevOps & CI/CD

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform preferred).
- Monitor production environments and ensure system reliability.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide project status updates, risk assessments, and technical recommendations.

Security & Compliance

- Ensure applications comply with organizational security policies.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Support audit, governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

- 10–15 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing software development teams.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud applications.
