Chennai One IT SEZ is a 36,00,000 sq.ft IT SEZ , which houses 45,000 IT employees and 5000 support staff. IT has a daily traffic of 5000 vehicles and 5000 drivers who enter and exit the campus. It has its own department store, bank, atm, canteen, coffee shop, gym, recreation center, day care center. We are looking for a dynamic asset manager, who has leadership qualities and decision-making ability. His key role will be to manage the clients, interact with them regularly and understand their issues, growth plans, downsizing decision etc. He will also need to manage the engineering team and the asset management with regard to an over view of electrical services, HVAC services, Fire, Plumbing, House keeping and Security.

Key Responsibilities

- To meet and interact with clients on a regular basis
- To act on Client feedback and Client requirements.
- To coordinate with electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and building management systems departments to take management decision with regard to repairs and maintenance, equipment issues, replacement, AMCs, and routine maintenance.
- To ensure that equipment is being run, managed, documented, checked and through Preventive maintenance is done.
- To handle though supervisors- security, housekeeping and food court maintenance.
- Should be a decision maker with positive application, and ability to understand issues including- building maintenance, electrical, air conditioning & Soft service etc. and coordinate with the concerned departments




- Oversee and supervise daily overall administrative operations of the Chennai One facility.
- Should serve as the emergency contact person for the customers and should be reachable at night or day, and should be able to think on his feet to address issues that arise.
- Regular follow up of all customers, customer centric work and ensuring they are completed
- Prepare monthly reports for the management, budgets, targets, evaluate staff performance, recruit capable staff to manage each department.

Qualification/Skills Required

- Candidate must have strong management capabilities and leadership qualities
- Should have functioned in a leadership role successfully
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to work independently
- Should be well versed with MS Office
- Good command over English language needed

Qualification any of the below:

1. Electrical engineer or equivalent

2. Engineer having served in the Navy

3. Electrical engineer having experience in data centres

4. Pilots from the Airforce with suitable technical and admin capabilities

Candidate Preference:

- Age: 28 to 50
- Only Male candidates needed
- Having knowledge of 5S, Kaizen & Effective Process Improvement Techniques
- Experience: 5 to 15 years
- Salary: 1 lakh to 4 Lakhs per month depending on experience and capacity
- Notice Period: Immediate to 1 month
- Location: In or around Thoraipakkam or should be willing to relocate.
