Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Head to lead business development and sales operations for ELGi compressed air systems and piping solutions across the Chennai region. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience managing industrial sales teams, and a proven track record in B2B capital equipment sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales growth for ELGi air compressors and compressed air piping solutions.
- Develop recent business opportunities across Corporate, MNC, OEM, and Consultant segments.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Sales Engineers.
- Ensure CRM updates, sales reporting, and process compliance.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance on product applications and specifications.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify market opportunities.
- Oversee stock management, indent processing, and cash flow discipline.
- Ensure compliance with company systems and operational processes.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and market intelligence.
- Collect customer feedback and support continuous product improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile





- Minimum 10+ years of industrial sales experience.
- Experience in leading sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of industrial air compressors, compressed air systems, or industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of the Chennai industrial market.
- Experience handling Corporate, MNC, OEM, and Consultant customers.
- Valid Driving License is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel across Chennai.
