The Geospatial Manager MAP oversees advanced geospatial documentation and communication efforts for hybrid day shift programs ensuring accurate technical writing and impactful content creation that clearly explains mapping solutions in Spanish and English while enabling internal teams and external stakeholders to understand adopt and derive value from geospatial products that support organizational goals and broader societal outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive geospatial documentation that translates complex mapping concepts into clear and accessible narratives for diverse technical and nontechnical stakeholder groups ensuring consistent understanding across global teams.
- Oversee creation of structured reference materials for geospatial platforms including workflows user guides and release notes that support efficient onboarding and ongoing adoption of mapping solutions.
- Provide high quality content and copy writing for geospatial product pages proposals and internal communications that precisely articulate capabilities benefits and business impact in a concise and engaging manner.
- Coordinate with geospatial analysts product owners and engineering teams to gather technical inputs and transform them into well organized documentation that aligns with corporate standards and supports strategic initiatives.
- Ensure all technical writing for geospatial applications adheres to established templates terminology conventions and style guidelines to maintain consistency and reduce ambiguity across documentation repositories.
- Produce Spanish language technical and marketing content that accurately reflects geospatial features while respecting linguistic nuances and cultural expectations of Spanish speaking audiences in multiple regions.




- Translate existing geospatial documentation between English and Spanish with meticulous attention to terminology accuracy ensuring that concepts related to spatial data layers projections and analytics are clearly conveyed.
- Manage content review cycles by organizing peer reviews implementing feedback and tracking revisions to maintain documentation quality and continuously improve clarity and relevance.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop instructional materials job aids and scripted demonstrations that support geospatial capability uplift and encourage responsible data use in operational environments.
- Implement content governance practices including version control tagging and archival routines to keep geospatial documentation current reliable and easy to discover for all authorized team members.
- Assess user feedback analytics and support tickets to identify documentation gaps then update or create new content that directly addresses recurring pain points and improves user experience with mapping tools.
- Align geospatial communication outputs with organizational sustainability and societal impact narratives by clearly describing how spatial insights inform equitable planning resilient infrastructure and resource efficient operations.




- Support hybrid work model effectiveness by enabling seamless access to digital documentation repositories and designing content structures that allow remote and onsite personnel to quickly locate needed geospatial information.

Qualifications

- Possess extensive experience in technical writing specifically focused on documenting complex software data workflows and analytical processes with an emphasis on geospatial or spatial data contexts.
- Demonstrate robust content and copy writing capabilities that enable creation of compelling narratives for geospatial products proposals and internal campaigns while remaining precise and evidence based.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in Spanish reading writing and speaking enabling production and review of bilingual documentation and smooth communication with Spanish speaking stakeholders.
- Show familiarity with hybrid working environments using collaboration tools and shared repositories to coordinate documentation and content activities across distributed teams.
- Display solid understanding of geospatial concepts such as spatial data structures map services layer symbology and location based analytics to ensure content accurately reflects platform capabilities.
- Reveal practical experience partnering with multidisciplinary teams including data analysts software specialists and business representatives to gather requirements and refine written outputs.
- Illustrate ability to apply structured writing methodologies and information architecture principles to produce modular reusable and easily navigable documentation for complex solutions.

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications in technical communication or geospatial information systems such as GIS certification or technical writing credential.
