Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the assessment, optimization, and modernization of an enterprise-scale data platform built on Azure Synapse Analytics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and executing the migration strategy from Azure Synapse to Databricks while ensuring platform performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and understand the existing end-to-end data architecture and pipeline ecosystem.
- Assess and validate data flows across ingestion, transformation,



and consumption layers.
- Identify architectural gaps, performance bottlenecks, and modernization opportunities.
- Define and drive the migration strategy from Azure Synapse to Databricks.
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data platform capabilities with organizational goals.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and best practices throughout the transformation journey.
