Job Title: Lead CAD & PCMS Engineering Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead CAD & PCMS Engineering Coordinator to lead a team of AutoCAD Designers and PCMS Load Sheets Editors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, assigning, reviewing, and delivering engineering documentation with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and timely project execution. The role requires excellent leadership, technical expertise in CAD drafting, and experience with PCMS load sheets for refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AutoCAD Designers and PCMS Load Sheets Editors.
- Plan daily and weekly work allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and approve AutoCAD drawings, isometric drawings, and PCMS load sheets before submission.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD.
- Convert legacy PDF drawings into accurate CAD drawings.
- Review and validate Equipment, Circuit, Component, and CML load sheets in PCMS using Excel.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision history, and document control procedures.
- Develop and maintain standard drawing templates and drafting procedures.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and project schedules.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to team members.
- Train new employees on drafting standards, PCMS workflows, and quality procedures.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rework.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure error-free deliverables.




- Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to management.
- Support client audits and engineering documentation reviews.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 812 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, isometric preparation, and PCMS documentation.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading or supervising a drafting/documentation team.
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs;, PFDs, piping isometrics, and mechanical engineering documentation.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel for PCMS load sheets.
- Experience in Equipment, Circuit, Component, and CML load sheet preparation.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
- Experience in refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, or process plant projects is preferred.
