SAP FICO Solution Architect S/4HANA Finance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance to lead enterprise-scale finance transformation programs. The ideal candidate should possess robust functional and architectural knowledge across SAP Finance modules, with hands-on experience in designing end-to-end finance solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and lead end-to-end SAP FICO solution architecture for large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Design and implement finance processes across:
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)

- Architect SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including:

- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Central Finance (where applicable)
- Group Reporting

- Design and govern financial master data, including:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Centers
- Profit Centers
- Controlling structures

- Ensure seamless integration between SAP Finance and other SAP modules:

- MM (Materials Management)
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- PP (Production Planning)
- FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management)

- Drive finance data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality activities.




- Design financial reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements, including IFRS, GAAP, and SOX.
- Conduct architecture workshops, solution reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Lead testing, cutover planning, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support.
- Identify opportunities for finance process automation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring to project and functional teams.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial Accounting (FI)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Controlling (CO)
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- CO-PA
- Product Costing

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end finance business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
- Experience integrating SAP Finance with MM, SD, PP, and FSCM.
- Expertise in financial reporting, analytics, and financial closing processes.
- Experience in finance data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Experience delivering global SAP transformation or greenfield/brownfield S/4HANA programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
