Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable and modular Terraform code for AWS infrastructure.
- Create and manage Terraform modules, state files, and code repositories.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices including version control, peer reviews, and automated deployments.
- Manage Terraform remote state using S3 and DynamoDB locking mechanisms.

AWS Cloud Architecture

- Design and deploy AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and EKS.
- Build secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud environments.
- Implement multi-account and multi-region AWS architectures.
- Support enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

DevOps & Automation

- Integrate Terraform deployments with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows.
- Enable DevOps, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices across environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or Bash.

Security & Compliance

- Implement secure cloud architectures using IAM, KMS encryption, TLS, VPCs, Security Groups, and NACLs.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and governance standards.
- Integrate infrastructure security scanning and compliance tools within deployment pipelines.
- Support audit readiness and governance initiatives.

Monitoring & Operations





- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud costs.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, and EKS.
- Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and cloud automation.
- Scripting experience using Python or Bash.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

- Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience.
- DevSecOps implementation experience.
- Ansible knowledge.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar monitoring tools.
- Exposure to cloud security and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)
- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
