Job Title: Associate Agency Lending Operations

Location: Chennai (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are hiring an Associate Agency Lending Operations to support end-to-end collateral processing, exposure monitoring, settlements, and reconciliation activities within the Global Markets Operations team. The role involves working closely with Front Office, custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely settlement of securities lending transactions and effective collateral management.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily Agency Lending collateral processing activities.
- Monitor client exposures and manage daily margin calls with brokers and triparty agents.
- Ensure securities loans and collateral transactions are settled within market deadlines.
- Perform cash and position reconciliations and investigate settlement or reconciliation breaks.
- Coordinate with Front Office, custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to resolve operational exceptions.
- Generate billing invoices and reconcile fee differences within defined SLAs.
- Prepare accurate client and management reports.




- Execute daily operational controls and maintain process checklists.
- Support new client onboarding, documentation updates, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Escalate operational issues promptly while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- Experience in Agency Lending, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, or Markets Operations.
- Positive understanding of collateral processing, exposure monitoring, margin calls, and settlements.
- Experience in cash/position reconciliation and break resolution.
- Basic knowledge of OTC derivatives and financial markets.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, VBA, Python, or SQL is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
