Job Summary

- We are looking for an experienced Datadog Developer with robust expertise in implementing and administering Datadog Observability solutions across enterprise environments.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience configuring Infrastructure Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Log Management, Digital Experience Monitoring, Kubernetes Monitoring, and cloud-native observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and administer the Datadog platform across enterprise environments.
- Deploy and manage Datadog Agents across servers, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure Infrastructure Monitoring, APM, Distributed Tracing, and Log Management.
- Implement Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring.
- Design dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLOs for proactive monitoring.
- Build custom metrics and automate monitoring using Datadog APIs.
- Integrate Datadog with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize observability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to improve platform reliability.

- 6+ years of IT experience with strong Datadog implementation expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog Platform Administration.

Preferred Skills

- AWS, Azure, or GCP monitoring experience.
- Docker and Kubernetes administration.
- Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience working in enterprise production support environments.
- DevOps and SRE exposure.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience implementing Datadog from scratch in production environments.
- Strong background in cloud-native monitoring and observability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
