Job description

We are looking for a Test Automation Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain the automated test infrastructure that validates . This is a hands-on engineering role focused on a complex, multi-transport hardware-in-the-loop setup: Web APIdriven test suites running on Windows enterprise environments, communicating with companion wearable devices over a mix of physical and wireless transports including USB/UART, BLE, and HTTPS.

You will own and evolve the automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and the tooling that keeps our test estate reliable and reproducible across web, mobile, and embedded targets. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing clean, maintainable Python and reasoning about how tests interact with real hardware and enterprise infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable libraries in Python.

Build and stabilize Web API–driven test suites that orchestrate companion devices communicating over USB/UART, BLE, and HTTPS in Windows enterprise environments.

Develop and maintain web and mobile (Android) UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.

Author API and REST service tests, including contract and integration coverage.





Integrate test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable, repeatable runs.

Manage source control, branching, and pipeline configuration in Git and Bitbucket.

Triage failures across software, infrastructure, and hardware/transport layers, and drive flakiness down through better tooling and instrumentation.

Collaborate with firmware, application, and DevOps teams to expand coverage and improve testability.

What is expected

- Expertise in API and UI automation using Python,

- developing and integrating automated test frameworks,

enhancing CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality software releases.

Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated environments.

Experience with enterprise compliance requirements (security, audit, MDM-managed devices).

Experience in embedded testing environments and testing systems that involve physical hardware or wearable/embedded companion devices.

Familiarity with BLE concepts and serial (UART) communication debugging.

Exposure to containerized test environments (Docker) and test result reporting/observability.
