Role Overview
We're hiring a Manager for IT Services Sales to drive business for our tech and product engineering line. You'll be the person opening doors, running conversations with prospective clients, and closing deals for software development, product engineering, and technology integration projects. This is a hunting role first, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the chase and knows how to sell technical services to a technical buyer.
What You'll Do
Generate and qualify leads for IT services and product engineering projects
Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to proposal to closing
Understand client requirements well enough to scope technical projects accurately alongside our delivery team
Build and manage a healthy pipeline, with regular forecasting and reporting
Represent Verbinden at industry events, partner meetups,
and client meetings
Work with the delivery and tech teams to make sure what's sold can actually be delivered
Build long term relationships with clients that lead to repeat business and referrals
Stay on top of market trends in software development and product engineering to spot new opportunities
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in IT services sales, technology sales, or B2B sales for a software/product engineering company A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
Comfortable having technical conversations with CTOs, engineering leads, and founders
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Self starter who can build a pipeline from scratch, not just work leads handed to them
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Valuable to Have
Existing network within the tech or startup ecosystem in India or beyond
Experience selling software development, product engineering, or IT staffing services
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, enough to speak the client's language
