Role Description The Manager role at Aswins Sweets & Snacks is a full-time, on-site position based in Dindigul. The Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff supervision, shift scheduling, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, coordinating with production and supply teams, managing cash handling and basic reporting, and ensuring products are displayed and maintained to brand standards. The Manager supports customer service by resolving issues, handling escalations,



and maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. The role also involves tracking sales performance, implementing promotional activities, training team members, and supporting continuous process improvements aligned with company policies.

Qualifications

Strong retail or food service operations management skills, including staff supervision, shift planning, and day-to-day store coordination.

Experience with inventory control, stock rotation, vendor coordination, and basic cash management or point-of-sale system usage.

Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and quality standards, with the ability to enforce procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.

Customer service and communication skills, including handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and supporting a positive in-store experience.

Basic analytical and reporting skills, including monitoring sales, preparing simple MIS reports, and using data to improve performance.

Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, foster teamwork, and train new staff on processes and service standards.

Prior experience in food retail, hospitality, or FMCG operations is preferred; familiarity with South Indian sweets and snacks is an advantage.

Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Food Technology, or a related field is beneficial.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
