Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Deoria, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and smooth functioning of hospital facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role involves planning and supervising preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that critical medical and non-medical equipment operate reliably and safely.

The Maintenance

Manager will lead the maintenance team, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with hospital standards, safety regulations, and relevant guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting facilities, responding to maintenance requests, managing service vendors, maintaining maintenance records, and optimizing resource use to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.



The role also requires collaboration with clinical and administrative departments to prioritize maintenance activities and support continuous improvement of facility operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair skills to oversee facility operations and address technical issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to ensure reliable functioning and longevity of hospital equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills to lead maintenance staff, coordinate workflows, and promote a safe and productive work environment.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field (mechanical, electrical, or civil) is preferred.
- Experience in maintenance operations within hospitals, healthcare facilities, or similar complex environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and basic compliance requirements relevant to healthcare facilities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
