- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level mainframe applications in the Automotive domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions while adhering to standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Application Development
- Create technical and program specifications for mainframe applications.
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards.
Production Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including code-red production scenarios.
- Monitor application performance and recommend optimizations as needed.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work with team members to deliver all necessary application components.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing for junior developers.
- Support team leads in delivery activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
- Prior experience in the Automotive domain is mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and support team leads in various delivery activities.
