Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Machine Learning & Data Science Mentor to deliver practical, industry-oriented online training to students. The mentor will be responsible for teaching core Data Science and Machine Learning concepts, providing hands-on exposure to relevant tools and technologies, guiding students through real-world projects, and preparing them for internships and entry-level job opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical project experience, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and student-friendly manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and structured live online sessions on Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Cover the complete course curriculum within the scheduled duration and allotted sessions.
- Teach Data Science concepts through practical examples, case studies, coding exercises, and real-world datasets.
- Train students in Python programming for Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Provide hands-on training using relevant tools, libraries, and open-source platforms.
- Teach students how to collect, clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret data.
- Explain the complete Machine Learning workflow, from data preparation to model development and evaluation.
- Assign practical exercises, coding assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
- Assign one Minor Project and one Major Project based on real-world business or industry use cases.
- Guide students throughout the complete project lifecycle, including problem definition, data collection, data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, model development, evaluation, and presentation.
- Review student assignments and projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and provide technical support where required.
- Guide students in creating and maintaining project portfolios using GitHub or other relevant platforms.
- Provide basic guidance on model deployment using suitable free or open-source tools.
- Conduct placement-oriented sessions, including technical interview preparation and mock interviews.
- Guide students in preparing qualified resumes and optimizing their LinkedIn profiles.
- Suggest relevant Data Science and Machine Learning keywords to improve profile visibility and job shortlisting opportunities.
- Coordinate with the operations team regarding class schedules, attendance, student progress, assignments, and course completion.
- Ensure professional conduct during all classes and student interactions.

- Prior experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Analyst, AI Engineer, Technical Trainer, Faculty Member, or Mentor.
- Experience in developing Data Science or Machine Learning projects.
- Previous online teaching or student mentoring experience is preferred.
