Role Description This full time Machine Design Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Rajkot, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Machine Design

Engineer will design and develop mechanical systems and machinery, from concept through detailed engineering and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 3D models and drawings in CAD software, performing basic calculations and design checks, selecting components and materials, and collaborating with production, procurement, and quality teams. The role involves reviewing existing machines for performance improvement, supporting installation and commissioning,



and troubleshooting mechanical design issues. The engineer will also coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, prepare technical reports, and ensure designs comply with safety standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and practical understanding of industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in Machine Design, including mechanisms, power transmission, and structural considerations.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
- Knowledge of Automation concepts and integration of mechanical systems with control and instrumentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to work in both office and workshop environments.
- Prior experience in machine manufacturing, plant engineering, or design of automated equipment is an advantage.
