Job Title : Quality Manager - Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

Base Location : Mandvi, Gujarat

Department : Quality

Reporting to : Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and oversee the plant's quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and applicable industry regulations.
- Lead quality control activities for raw material inspection, in-process controls, and finished product certification.
- Monitor copper purity, composition, contamination levels, and process consistency.
- Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Lead internal, customer, and external certification audits.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to recycling operations.
- Establish and update SOPs, quality procedures, and control plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, reduce defects, and minimize quality-related losses.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs for process deviations and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with production,



maintenance, and operations teams to improve process controls and product quality.
- Implement and monitor quality KPIs, process capability metrics, and improvement programs.
- Build a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across plant operations.
- Support training programs on quality standards, systems, and best practices.

Qualification

B. Tech/ Diploma Mechanical Engineering/ quality management or a related Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related domain.

Experience

8-15 years of experience in quality management within copper recycling, non-ferrous metals, smelting, or process manufacturing.
