Role Description The Legal Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing legal affairs for the company’s technology and clean-energy businesses, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, MOUs, and other legal documents.

The Legal

Manager will handle legal compliance, support regulatory filings, manage licenses and permissions, and coordinate with external counsel when needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing legal consulting to internal stakeholders, assessing legal risks in commercial and operational decisions, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.



The position also requires maintaining organized legal records, monitoring changes in relevant legislation, and supporting dispute resolution and litigation strategy as required.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.

Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and corporate documentation.

Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical guidance to business and operational teams.

Demonstrated expertise in Legal Compliance, including regulatory adherence, policy implementation, and risk management.

Hands-on experience managing Legal Affairs for corporate entities, preferably in technology, infrastructure, or energy sectors.

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M or additional specialized certifications in corporate or energy law are an advantage.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in relevant local languages is beneficial.

Prior experience handling contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters in Indian jurisdiction; familiarity with international frameworks is a plus.
