Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support the legal and compliance functions at Pawmax. The role offers hands-on exposure to corporate legal processes, startup compliance, intellectual property, regulatory frameworks, and investment-related documentation within a fast-growing technology company.

This internship is designed to provide practical insight into how legal functions operate within a startup and digital commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research on corporate, startup, and technology-related laws including the Companies Act, Contract Law, IT Act, and E-commerce regulations.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing,



and proofreading legal documents such as NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Support work related to Intellectual Property, including trademark searches, filing trademark applications, and maintaining IP records.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing website and platform policies such as Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Refund policies.
- Help maintain and organize legal documentation, compliance records, and filings.
- Support preparation of documents and applications for licenses, registrations, and regulatory approvals required for business operations.
- Assist in compiling documentation and legal information required for startup programs, accelerators, and investor/VC applications.
- Track developments in IPR, corporate law, and startup regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare legal notes, research briefs, and compliance checklists for internal use.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support day-to-day legal and compliance processes.
