Purpose

To lead supply chain governance, compliance, audits, policy, process excellence, digitalization, AI enablement, and enterprise supply chain systems such as SAP Ariba across a complex manufacturing environment. The role is expected to provide strong operational governance across procurement and supply chain functions while also driving transformation, risk control, audit readiness, and process standardization in support of EMS and semiconductor-scale operations.

Preferred Seniority

A highly experienced senior leader with at least 25 years of experience, ideally with deep exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, solar manufacturing, or OSAT environments.

Business Need

This role requires a mature leader who can operate across strategic governance and factory-level execution, with sufficient depth to understand supply chain control points, compliance obligations, business continuity risks, supplier governance, and the practical realities of an EMS, OSAT and semiconductor fab environment.

Role summary

This role will own the governance backbone of the Supply Chain organization, including compliance, internal controls, audits, policies, process design, system enablement, digital transformation, AI use-case enablement, and supply chain operational discipline. The incumbent will act as the central integrator across procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, supplier management, manufacturing interfaces, finance controls, quality, EHS, IT, and leadership stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Lead the Supply Chain Governance function covering policies, standard operating procedures, controls, approval workflows, audit readiness, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation.

Design, implement, and continuously improve supply chain policies, process frameworks, RACI structures, control matrices, and governance cadences.

Drive end-to-end process harmonization across sourcing, procurement, contracting, planning interfaces, logistics, inventory controls, warehousing, supplier onboarding, and transactional governance.

Own supply chain audit preparedness and closure management for internal audits, external audits, customer audits, statutory audits, and management reviews.

Establish strong compliance mechanisms for procurement governance, delegation of authority, bidding controls, contract compliance, exception management, and documentation discipline.

Lead digitalization initiatives within supply chain, including workflow automation, dashboarding, analytics, master-data discipline, process mining opportunities, and system-driven control improvements.

Identify and enable practical AI use cases within supply chain, including analytics, risk sensing, demand/supply insights,

document intelligence, workflow acceleration, and decision-support use cases.

Serve as the business owner or senior functional lead for SAP Ariba / Ariba-enabled procurement processes, including adoption, governance, process compliance, user alignment, and enhancement priorities.

Partner with IT, digital, finance, quality, legal, and operations teams to ensure supply chain processes are scalable, compliant, and system-enabled.

Support leadership reviews with structured reporting on governance KPIs, audit observations, non-compliance trends, process bottlenecks, digital adoption, and corrective-action closure.

Drive supplier governance standards, including onboarding controls, commercial compliance, process adherence, and risk-based monitoring.

Support business continuity and resilience planning across critical supply chain processes, vendors, materials, and operational handoffs.

Mentor teams on governance discipline, process ownership, documentation quality, and structured problem-solving.

Support hiring, onboarding, and capability development of governance, process excellence, and systems-focused supply chain talent.

Candidate profile The ideal candidate is a seasoned supply chain leader with both strategic and hands-on execution capability. The person should be comfortable operating in a high-complexity manufacturing environment where control, speed, cross-functional alignment, and systems maturity are equally important.

Experience requirements

Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, supply chain governance, process excellence, compliance, audit, or supply chain transformation.

Strong preference for experience in semiconductor, electronics, solar, OSAT, or other high-technology manufacturing environments.

Deep understanding of supply chain operating models in complex industrial or manufacturing setups, preferably including exposure to fab or fab-adjacent environments.

Proven experience in governance-led transformation across procurement and supply chain functions.

Demonstrated experience managing audits, compliance frameworks, policy deployment, and control-based process management.

Strong experience in digital transformation and systems enablement within supply chain.

Experience with SAP Ariba or similar source-to-pay / procurement platforms is strongly preferred.

Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in fast-scaling or high-accountability environments.
