Job Title – Lead Software engineer The Purpose of This Role To contribute to a highly performance team to deliver efficient and innovative technology solutions to the Fidelity Wealth business.

This involves working closely with the global team and remaining in touch not only with the latest technologies but also with the business domain. This also involves constantly finding newer and better ways to achieve operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Market Data application within Fidelity’s Centralized Equity Trading suite, while ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to engineering standards.

Designing and implementing technology solutions for the Capital Markets business

Working closely with our business partners to contribute to business-critical initiatives

Demonstrate software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment

Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery

Follows practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity

Providing on-call Production support for FCET trading application suite (All days of the week) and will be part of on-call roster.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral Strong analytical and programming skills





Knowledge and hands-on experience with KDB are a definite advantage for this position, though it is not a mandatory requirement.

Robust proficiency in SQL and query optimization.

Robust in either Java (Core Java/Spring Boot) or Python.

Strong

Unix/Linux skills Should be enthusiastic about learning and adopting recent technologies and domain knowledge on the job especially KDB and Brokerage Market data

Strong understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, uDeploy Exposure to Agile Methodology with prior experience working in cross functional organization Should be good in design and analysis as the role requires work on multiple initiatives
