Role Impact:

As a Data Scientist at DTCC, you will leverage your expertise to drive business value by developing and deploying machine learning models, building data pipelines, and creating interactive visualizations. You will work with diverse teams to solve complex problems and automate workflows, contributing to a culture of innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Machine Learning & Data Modeling: Develop and deploy machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) for business problem-solving.
- Data Pipeline Development: Build ETL pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and Oracle to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Power BI Reporting: Design and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, incorporating advanced DAX calculations and Power Query.
- Power Apps & Automate: Build and maintain Power Apps solutions and workflows to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across the organization to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Leadership & Mentorship:



Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field with a focus on machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, machine learning libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning).
- Expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot, and creating complex KPIs and measures.
- Proven experience with Power Apps development (canvas and model-driven apps) and Power Automate for business process automation.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Oracle database technologies.
- Advanced SQL skills, with experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Robust communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with SharePoint.
- Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or Qlik is a plus.
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.
