About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO/AEO Team Lead to lead our organic growth function, manage the SEO/AEO team, and build future-ready search capabilities across traditional and AI-led search ecosystems.

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive SEO performance, team management, client consulting, and emerging search capabilities such as GEO, AEO, and GSO. The ideal candidate should combine hands-on expertise with leadership ability, driving measurable growth across rankings, traffic, discoverability, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

GEO, AEO & Future Search Strategy

- Drive the evolution of search capabilities beyond traditional SEO
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Build strategies to improve visibility across AI-led and generative search ecosystems

Drive optimization for:
- Featured snippets
- People Also Ask
- Voice search
- FAQ modules
- Instant answers
- Zero-click SERPs

GSO (Generative Search Optimization)

Support leadership and business teams in:

- Client pitches
- POV documents
- Future search strategy decks
- Consulting frameworks
- Service innovation

Strategic Leadership – SEO & Organic Growth
- Own and drive end-to-end organic growth strategy across client and internal projects
- Define long-term roadmaps for:
- Technical SEO
- Content SEO
- Backlink strategy
- Keyword expansion
- Organic conversion growth
- Identify growth opportunities based on market trends, customer behavior, and search intent
- Build scalable processes, SOPs, and reporting frameworks for the SEO function




- Work closely with leadership on strategic growth initiatives

SEO Strategy & Execution
- Review and audit websites for:
- Technical SEO
- On-page SEO
- Off-page SEO
- Content optimization
- Improve crawlability, indexing, site structure, internal linking, and metadata
- Define keyword strategies aligned to business goals
- Collaborate with development and content teams for implementation

Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Monitor dashboards and reporting tools

- Present performance insights to clients and leadership

Required Qualifications

- 8-10 years of experience in SEO/AEO / organic growth / digital marketing
- Strong understanding of technical SEO and content strategy
- Exposure to GEO, AEO, and AI-led search trends
- Experience in client-facing strategy and presentations
- Knowledge of HTML / CSS is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
