Role & responsibilities

- Meeting production targets as per business plan.

- Coordinate work order and material flow within manufacturing area, assign and position resources based on work order demand and priorities

- All aspects related to the execution of the manufacturing schedule including coordinating material, communication with other departments, ensuring maintenance and housekeeping issues are addressed

- Jobs setting & machining of critical parts as per drawing & documents with zero deviations.

- Sustain and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), DPU (Defects Per Unit), FPY (First Pass Yield)

- Responsible for TPM. Active participation in Kaizens, 5S and Process improvement.

- Tool crib management.

- Daily, weekly and monthly production reporting and MIS





- Control over Rejection and Rework

- Accurate completion of quality checklists and production paperwork

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must

- BE or Diploma in Mechanical

Desirable

- Six Sigma Certified

- Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, Quality Systems/ TPM/ Lean/ CNC Programming/ Process documentation as per ISO 9001:2008.

Relevant EXPERIENCE:

Must

- Minimum of 15 years related experience.

- Hands on experience to operate 5 axis CNC machines

- Knowledge of heavy & precision parts machining

Desirable

- Working Experience in Defence Sector.
