Role Purpose

We are looking for a maintenance-domain professional who can lead the implementation of our Enterprise Maintenance, Reliability and Asset Intelligence Platform across large industrial organisations.

The role is suitable for professionals from:

- Plant maintenance
- Reliability engineering
- Maintenance planning
- Corporate maintenance excellence

- EAM or CMMS implementation
- Industrial digitalisation
- Asset-management consulting

The selected candidate will work with corporate maintenance teams, plant leadership, engineers, planners, technicians and IT teams to:
- Understand existing maintenance processes
- Define improved future-state processes
- Implement the platform at customer plants
- Standardise processes across multiple locations
- Drive user adoption
- Convert the first implementation into a scalable multi-plant rollout

Key Responsibilities Maintenance Process Assessment

- Visit customer plants and conduct process-discovery workshops.
- Interact with maintenance heads, planners, engineers, technicians, production teams and corporate stakeholders.
- Understand existing maintenance practices, systems and operational challenges.
- Study preventive, corrective, breakdown, inspection and shutdown-maintenance processes.
- Identify gaps in planning, execution, reporting, compliance and user adoption.
- Document current processes and recommend practical improvements.
- Distinguish genuine operational requirements from legacy habits and inefficient practices.

Maintenance Transformation

- Define standard maintenance processes that can be adopted across plants.
- Align plant-level requirements with corporate maintenance policies.
- Support customers in standardising workflows, statuses, approvals and KPIs.
- Challenge unnecessary process variations between plants.
- Recommend practical improvements without overcomplicating operations.
- Ensure that technology supports maintenance operations rather than adding administrative work.

EAM and CMMS Implementation

- Translate maintenance requirements into system workflows and configurations.
- Define work-order, notification, inspection, checklist and approval processes.
- Configure or coordinate configuration of:
- Preventive maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance
- Inspections
- Maintenance requests
- Shutdown activities
- Root-cause analysis
- FMEA
- Permit-to-work processes
- Escalations
- Notifications
- Dashboards
- Mobile workflows
- Ensure that configurations remain scalable and reusable.
- Avoid unnecessary customer-specific customisation.
- Coordinate closely with product, technical and development teams.

Asset and Maintenance Master Data

- Define and review asset hierarchy and functional-location structures.
- Support equipment-master creation and cleansing.
- Standardise equipment naming and coding conventions.
- Review preventive-maintenance schedules and frequencies.
- Support the preparation of:
- Maintenance plans
- Task lists
- Checklists
- Failure codes
- Equipment criticality
- Spare-parts mapping
- Equipment BOM
- User and role masters
- Identify duplicate, incomplete or unreliable customer data.
- Define clear ownership for maintenance master data.
- Ensure data readiness before migration and go-live.

SAP PM and Enterprise-System Alignment

- Understand the customer’s SAP PM, ERP, CMMS and IT landscape.
- Define the functional boundary between the platform and existing systems.
- Identify the system of record for each master and transaction.
- Support integration requirements related to:
- Equipment masters




- Functional locations
- Maintenance notifications
- Work orders
- Maintenance plans
- Inventory
- Spare parts
- Users
- Status updates
- Coordinate with SAP, ERP, API and integration teams.
- Prevent duplication of existing SAP or ERP functionality.
- Ensure that the platform strengthens shop-floor execution and corporate visibility.

Implementation Planning

- Prepare detailed implementation plans and milestone schedules.
- Define customer and internal-team responsibilities.
- Track:
- Data dependencies
- Pending decisions
- Configuration activities
- Integration requirements
- Testing readiness
- Training readiness
- Project risks
- Scope changes
- Conduct regular implementation reviews with customer and internal teams.
- Maintain clear project documentation and decision logs.
- Escalate delays and dependencies in a timely manner.
- Control scope and manage change requests systematically.

Testing and Go-Live

- Prepare functional test cases and business scenarios.
- Coordinate system testing and integration testing.
- Lead user-acceptance testing.
- Ensure that critical workflows are validated before go-live.
- Prepare cutover and go-live plans.
- Coordinate production deployment and user onboarding.
- Support customers during hypercare.
- Track production issues and corrective actions.
- Ensure formal stabilisation and project closure.

Training and User Adoption

- Prepare role-specific training material and user manuals.
- Conduct training for:
- Maintenance engineers
- Reliability engineers
- Maintenance planners
- Supervisors
- Technicians
- Plant heads
- Corporate users
- IT teams
- Ensure users understand both the process and the platform.
- Identify resistance, process bypasses and parallel offline working.
- Work with customer leadership to improve compliance and adoption.
- Define and track adoption indicators such as:
- Active users

- Timely data entry
- Checklist completion
- Failure-code usage
- Pending approvals
- System-generated versus offline activities

Reliability and Asset Performance

- Support implementation of:
- Root-cause analysis
- Why-Why analysis

- Bad-actor identification
- Condition-based maintenance
- Predictive-maintenance use cases
- Define and validate maintenance KPIs such as:
- MTBF
- MTTR
- Equipment availability
- PM compliance
- Breakdown frequency
- Schedule compliance
- Maintenance backlog
- Help customers move beyond basic work-order digitisation toward reliability improvement and asset intelligence.

Product Improvement

- Identify recurring customer requirements.
- Recommend reusable product capabilities instead of one-off customisation.
- Provide structured feedback to product and development teams.
- Contribute to:

- Equipment libraries
- Maintenance workflows
- Standard dashboards
- Implementation checklists
- Data templates

- Experience in EAM, CMMS, SAP PM or maintenance-digitalisation implementation.
- Experience working with asset-intensive or manufacturing organisations.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to implementation activities such as:
- Process discovery
- Solution design
- Data preparation
- Configuration
- UAT
- Training
- Go-live
- Hypercare
- User adoption
- Experience interacting with both plant-level and corporate stakeholders.
- Experience in multi-plant standardisation or rollout will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel and spend time at customer plants.
