Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional Java backend development experience (Java 11 / 17 / 21).
- Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Proven experience designing and building microservices and RESTful / gRPC APIs.
- Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or OpenShift) for containerization and orchestration.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design (CAP theorem, eventual consistency, distributed transactions).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidates should have experience leading or mentoring a team.
