Role Description The Lead Internship AI / Data Science (Senior) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing and leading AI and data science projects that enhance USR INFOTECH’s agentic AI performance management platforms, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.

The person in this position will mentor interns and junior team members, define project scopes, assign tasks, and ensure high-quality outcomes across experiments and prototypes. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with product and engineering teams, performing data exploration and feature engineering, building and refining ML models,



and translating business performance challenges into AI-driven solutions. The role also involves documenting methodologies, presenting insights to stakeholders, and continuously researching emerging AI/ML techniques relevant to performance management systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in data science and machine learning, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in programming and data tools, such as Python or R, SQL, and common ML/AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas).
- Candidates should possess skills in data engineering and analytics, including data cleaning, feature engineering, working with large datasets, and building dashboards or analytical reports.
- Candidates should possess experience in applied AI for products, such as designing experiments, evaluating model performance, integrating models into production systems, and ensuring explainability and auditability.
