Job Summary

This position holder is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's BI reporting ecosystem. This includes designing and building BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. The Lead BI will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization while leading and mentoring a team of BI professionals.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Power BI expert.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Advanced Power BI development, DAX, SQL, dashboarding, and reporting solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- 1-2 years of team handling/people management experience is mandatory.
- Experience in Power Apps and Power Automate will be an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into BI solutions.
- Experience in leading BI projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Skills Required
- Expertise in Advanced Power BI development and data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, SQL, data modeling,



and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain Power BI solutions.
- Lead the development of scalable BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
- Develop and execute complex database queries.
- Work with Databricks and/or Snowflake to extract, transform, and manage enterprise data.
- Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to understand, define, and develop BI and data solutions.
- Mentor and manage a small BI team, ensuring project delivery and quality standards.
- Configure scheduled refreshes and automate report distribution through Power BI Service.
- Write calculated columns, measures, and DAX queries in Power BI Desktop for advanced analytics.
- Identify opportunities for automation using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Working on Maritime/Shipping/Shipmanagement domain projects will be an added advantage.
