Role & responsibilities * Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines for machining brass components.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Set up machines and select appropriate cutting tools and machine parameters.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and boring operations.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure accurate dimensions and surface finish.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report machine issues and production concerns to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

- ITI (Turner/Machinist/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Higher Secondary (12th)

Experience

- 15 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Brass Manufacturing will be preferred.
