Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Noida for a Laser Tracker Expert. The role involves operating and managing laser tracker equipment to perform precision 3D measurements and alignments for mechanical components and assemblies.

The Laser Tracker

Expert will plan and execute measurement tasks, set up equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, creating measurement reports, collaborating with design and production teams to resolve dimensional issues, and supporting reverse engineering and validation activities.



The role also includes maintaining equipment, following safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of measurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in laser tracker operation, 3D metrology, and precision dimensional inspection.
- Candidates should possess skills in 3D CAD modeling, interpretation of engineering drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, report generation, and documentation of measurement results.
- Candidates should possess skills in mechanical engineering fundamentals, manufacturing processes, and quality control practices.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work within cross-functional teams, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Relevant experience with laser trackers (e.g., Leica, FARO, Hexagon) or similar high-precision measurement systems is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in reverse engineering, validation, and on-site customer support within mechanical or automotive industries is an added advantage.
