Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician based in Vadodara, suitable for individuals with 0 to 1 year of experience.

The Laboratory

Technician will assist in routine sample collection, preparation, labeling, and processing across various pathology disciplines, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing basic tests, recording observations, and ensuring accurate documentation in the laboratory information system. The role also involves supporting quality control procedures,



adhering to standard operating procedures, and collaborating with senior technicians and pathologists to ensure timely and reliable test results. The technician will contribute to maintaining cleanliness, inventory of reagents and consumables, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and be able to perform routine procedures under supervision.

Candidates should be familiar with laboratory equipment and basic maintenance practices.

Candidates should demonstrate quality control awareness and follow standardized processes to ensure accurate test results.

Candidates should have analytical skills to interpret basic data, identify anomalies, and escalate findings appropriately.

Candidates should understand the responsibilities of laboratory technicians and work effectively as part of a diagnostic team.

Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.

Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, and handling of biological samples.

Attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic computer literacy and ability to use laboratory information systems.

Willingness to work flexible hours as per laboratory requirements and participate in training for continuous skill development.
