We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing samples, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Role Description The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for collecting and preparing drilling fluids, crude oil, gas, water, and other samples for laboratory analysis. The role involves conducting chemical, physical, and environmental tests to monitor product quality and performance while maintaining accurate records of test results and preparing reports for engineers and management.

The technician will ensure all laboratory procedures comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, providing timely and reliable data to support drilling, production, and waste management operations.



Additionally, the role includes calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

The Laboratory

Technician will strictly adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, contribute to process improvement initiatives, support chemical treatment optimization and product development activities, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
- Fresh graduates in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields, or entry‑level professionals with 1–2 years of laboratory experience are eligible.
- Ability to observe, record, and interpret basic test results with accuracy.
