Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Assistant role based in Varanasi.
The Laboratory
Assistant will support day-to-day laboratory operations, including preparing samples, handling chemical reagents, and assisting in experiments related to nanotechnology-based fertilizers.
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and organizing test data, and following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
The role also involves assisting in quality checks on raw materials and finished products, collaborating with the research and production teams, and ensuring that laboratory work aligns with regulatory and internal quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including protected handling of chemicals and familiarity with basic lab procedures.
Candidates should possess experience with laboratory equipment, including operation, calibration, and routine maintenance.
Candidates should possess quality control skills, with the ability to follow test protocols and document results accurately.
Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret experimental data and identify deviations or trends.
Candidates should possess clear communication skills for documenting work, reporting findings, and collaborating with team members.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, agriculture, biotechnology, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of fertilizer or agrochemical testing, and familiarity with safety and environmental regulations, is an advantage.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and work effectively in a structured laboratory environment.
