We are building the streaming backbone for a next-generation AdTech platform that will process billions of real-time events every day.
This is not a managed-services role. You will design, deploy, tune and operate a self-managed streaming platform on dedicated bare-metal infrastructure.

What You Will Own
- Deploy, configure and administer self-managed Apache Kafka clusters.
- Deploy and operate Apache Flink for real-time stream processing.
- Build and manage Kubernetes infrastructure for streaming workloads.
- Install, configure and tune ClickHouse, MongoDB and Redis clusters.
- Configure Kafka topics, partitions, replication, retention and security.
- Benchmark and optimize throughput, latency and scalability—performance engineering is a core part of the role.
- Own production operations, including broker failures, consumer lag, partition rebalancing, upgrades,
disaster recovery and capacity planning.
- Build monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
What You Need
- 2+ years of hands-on Apache Kafka production experience
- Installed, configured and operated Kafka clusters.
- Not just developing producers and consumers.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
- Positive networking fundamentals.
- Bash or Python scripting.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and their trade-offs.
