Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out marking and layout of castings using surface plates, V-blocks, angle plates, height gauges and other marking tools.

- Mark machining lines, centres, hole positions and reference datums as per engineering drawings.

- Check machining allowance and identify casting shifts, distortion or short allowance.

- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Maintain marking instruments and ensure proper housekeeping.

- Coordinate with machining operators and communicate marking references accurately.

- Follow PPE, safety procedures and secure handling practices for heavy castings.
