We are seeking a motivated Junior Counsellor who will advise students who wish to go to higher education abroad and assist them at every stage of the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
Guide students on courses, universities, countries, and job options.
Learn about students' profiles and suggest appropriate study-abroad programs.
Take student enquiries by means of telephone calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person visits.
Describe what you need to get in, how to apply, the costs, and important dates.
Help students with their university applications and with the relevant documentation.
Keep in touch with potential students and ensure that you have regular communication with them.
Offer students assistance during the admission and pre-departure process.
Strive to achieve the counselling and conversion targets that have been assigned.
Skills Required
One has excellent skills in communication and in dealing with people.
The ability to provide robust counselling, to be convincing, and to offer follow-up support.
The level of interest or knowledge concerning international education and study-abroad destinations.
Customer-focused and target-oriented approach.
Skills in organization and in the management of time.
