The team handles complex and high-stakes criminal cases, including serious offences, bail and anticipatory bail applications, FIR quashing, and appellate work. In addition to criminal practice, the firm manages a wide range of civil disputes, property matters, matrimonial and divorce cases, recovery suits, consumer complaints, and writ petitions, emphasizing thorough preparation and strategic advocacy.

Role Description The Junior Advocate will assist senior counsel in criminal, civil, and constitutional matters, including drafting pleadings, applications, and legal opinions for cases in Pune and before the Bombay High Court.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case notes, organizing documents and evidence, and supporting courtroom strategy and argument preparation. The role involves attending client meetings, assisting with case intake, maintaining case files,



and coordinating with court staff and other stakeholders to ensure timely filings and compliance with procedures.

The Junior

Advocate will be expected to observe and participate in hearings, contribute to case strategy discussions, and maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. This is a full time, on-site role based in Pune City.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research, analytical reasoning, and case law interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, applications, notices, and legal opinions.
- Effective oral advocacy, courtroom etiquette, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage documentation, maintain case files, and handle deadlines with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with criminal, civil, and procedural laws, and basic knowledge of constitutional principles.
- LL.B. from a recognized university; enrollment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra (or eligibility to enroll).
- Willingness to work on high-stakes and sensitive matters with integrity and resilience.
- Fluency in English and Marathi (spoken and written) preferred; Hindi proficiency an advantage.
- Strong ethical judgment, commitment to public service, and readiness to learn under senior guidance.
