Role Description The Junior Accountant role at IncorpX is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.
The Junior
Accountant will assist with daily accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role includes preparing and reviewing invoices, processing payments, tracking expenses, and helping with accounts payable and receivable.

Accountant will support the preparation of financial reports, assist with compliance-related documentation, and collaborate with senior team members to ensure accurate and timely financial records. This position involves regular coordination with internal stakeholders and may include interaction with clients to clarify financial data or documentation needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Zoho Books.
Prepare, verify, and post journal entries accurately.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense transactions.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
Generate customer invoices and record vendor bills.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
Assist in GST and TDS compliance activities.
Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required financial records.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams for accounting-related matters.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
0–2 years of accounting experience.
Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and practical exposure are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (Preferred).
Valuable understanding of accounting principles and journal entries (Mandatory).
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Zoho Inventory or other Zoho applications is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software is a plus.
