Role Description This is a full-time, Estimation Engineer role based in Vadodara.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed quantities and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications, and develop accurate cost estimates for civil and structural engineering projects. The role involves analyzing technical documents, coordinating with design and project teams to clarify scope, and updating estimates based on design changes and client feedback.

Engineer will support tender preparation,



evaluate vendor and contractor quotations, and assist in negotiations to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Daily tasks also include maintaining estimation records, conducting market rate analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation, including quantity take-off and cost analysis.

Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in civil engineering, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.

Proficiency in estimation and quantity take-off software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, or other relevant tools).

Solid analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline having 2 years of experience is prefered.

Candidates should possess solid research skills to analyze market rates, materials, and industry benchmarks for accurate estimates.

Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for vendor discussions, contractor quotations, and cost optimization.

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or commercial projects is an advantage.
