We're looking for a journalist who is as comfortable reporting on the ground as they are presenting in front of the camera.

Role Overview

As a Journalist / Reporter, you'll research, report, write, and present stories across digital platforms. You'll conduct interviews, cover important developments, and create engaging, factual, and balanced content for YouTube and social media.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys field reporting, asking the right questions, and communicating complex issues in a clear and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, report, and produce stories on current affairs, politics, governance, business, and social issues.
- Present stories confidently on camera for YouTube and digital platforms.
- Conduct interviews with experts, public figures, and stakeholders.
- Cover events, press conferences, and field assignments.
- Verify facts and ensure accuracy before publication.
- Write scripts, news reports, and digital content.
- Work closely with the editorial, production,



and video teams to deliver high-quality journalism.
- Stay updated with the latest news and emerging stories.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in reporting, journalism, or digital news.
- Excellent command of English and/or Gujarati. Hindi is an added advantage.
- Strong on-camera presence with transparent communication skills.
- Confident interviewer with excellent research and storytelling abilities.
- Understanding of digital journalism and social media platforms.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to breaking news situations.
- Willingness to travel for reporting assignments when required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with digital-first news platforms.
- Familiarity with YouTube and social media journalism.
- Script writing and editorial experience.
- Basic understanding of video production and newsroom workflows.
