Role Summary

Seeking a highly experienced jQuery UI Lead with robust expertise in front-end application development, UI architecture, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, along with a proven track record of leading UI development teams and delivering enterprise-scale web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications.
- Build reusable and scalable UI components and custom widgets.
- Develop responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, QA teams,



and backend developers.
- Drive UI modernization initiatives and front-end best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Lead and mentor UI development teams.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural direction.
- Resolve complex technical and architectural challenges.
- Participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and project planning activities.
- Support effort estimation, sprint planning, release management, and resource allocation.
- Act as the primary technical contact for UI-related initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Front-End Web Application Development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, and DOM Manipulation.
- Extensive experience building and extending custom jQuery UI widgets.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs using JSON/XML.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven experience leading UI development teams.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture and enterprise application development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
