We're seeking someone to join our exchange connectivity team as an Analyst in Algo Super Dept to design, build, and deploy complex, low latency applications that enable exchange access to Morgan Stanley's sophisticated low latency strategies and algorithmic trading services.

What you'll do in the role:

- Contribute to the team's delivery objectives through a mix of operational responsibilities and project-based work, building a robust understanding of the trading business, exchange connectivity landscape, and the control environment that supports low-latency electronic trading.
- Design, develop, test, and support high-performance C++ applications used for low-latency trading, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, deterministic performance, and efficient interaction with exchange protocols and market data flows.
- Promote strong software engineering practices across the development lifecycle, including clean design, code quality, automated testing, peer review, documentation, production readiness, and continuous improvement of shared components and technical standards.
- Support and oversee the implementation, configuration, certification, and ongoing maintenance of connectivity to global exchanges, ensuring stable production access,



timely issue resolution, and adherence to operational, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
- Partner with global technology, trading, quant, support, and infrastructure teams to deliver new trading capabilities, onboard exchange enhancements, improve platform resilience, and ensure solutions meet business needs across regions and asset classes. What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.
- Proficiency in network protocols and exchange connectivity standards
- Experience with FIX protocol and other financial messaging standards
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues
- Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
