Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, and support Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence platforms.
- Design and implement workflows, custom fields, screens, issue types, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules.
- Manage user access, groups, roles, and security configurations.
- Develop and maintain Jira projects, dashboards, filters, reports, and service portals.
- Build and support integrations between Jira and enterprise tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Slack, MS Teams, CI/CD platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Configure and maintain Atlassian Marketplace applications and plugins.
- Implement governance, standards, and best practices for platform usage and administration.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide L2/L3 support for end users and stakeholders.
- Automate administrative tasks using Jira Automation, REST APIs, scripting tools (ScriptRunner), and other automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, Product Owners, PMOs, DevOps, and Engineering teams to improve workflows and productivity.
- Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Perform upgrades, migrations,



and platform enhancements as required.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
- Support audit, compliance, security, and data governance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands on experience in Jira Administration and Atlassian ecosystem management.
- Solid hands-on experience with:

- Jira Software

- Jira Service Management (JSM)

- Confluence

- Atlassian Administration

- Automation Rules

- Workflows and Schemes

- User and Permission Management
- Experience with Jira Cloud and/or Data Center environments.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and platform integrations.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as:

- ScriptRunner

- Groovy (preferred)

- Python

- PowerShell
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and ITSM processes.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and Release Management practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex platform and integration issues.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
