Software Engineer III, Full Stack (Cloud, Data Platform, AI Tooling)

About the role

You will build and enhance secure, stable, and scalable technology products for a global bank's risk reporting platform. This is hands-on engineering across the full stack, from Angular or React front ends through Java services to cloud and Databricks-backed data pipelines.

The team is actively using enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants in its delivery workflow, so comfort with AI-assisted development is part of the job, not a nice to have.

What you will do

- Execute software solutions end to end: design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Write secure, high quality production code and maintain algorithms that run against risk reporting systems
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data, and use those insights to improve code quality and system architecture
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity
- Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge, including AI-assisted development and automation
- Contribute to engineering communities of practice
- Collaborate across teams and functions in an agile delivery model





Must have

- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Full stack Java development with Angular and/or React
- Relational database technologies and strong SQL
- System design, design patterns, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Cloud: AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Data platform: Databricks, including SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
- Experience delivering in a large corporate or enterprise environment
- Agile delivery, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools, and responsible AI use in engineering workflows

Preferred

- Applied AI tooling experience in real engineering use cases
- C# for production services
- Tableau
- Prior work in risk reporting, regulatory reporting, or another regulated BFSI domain
