Position Summary:

Senior Software Developer with 5+ years of professional software development experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality software, has robust backend development expertise, and is experienced in modern cloud-native development practices, DevOps, and agile delivery.

This role requires a proactive individual who can analyse complex business requirements, develop scalable solutions, and deliver projects on time while maintaining high coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate services using Apache Camel for enterprise integration and messaging.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Good to have experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.).
- Knowledge of application security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
