We are seeking a Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development and AWS API Gateway to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services within the Java and AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Node.js, AWS API Gateway, and cloud-native application development. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs leveraging AWS API Gateway for high performance, scalability, and security.

Implement microservices architecture following domain-driven and event-driven design patterns.

Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale applications in a cloud-native setting.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver new features.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to system architecture, API design, and application code.

Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)



pipelines to automate application releases.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality, reliability, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop backend components and microservices using Java and AWS API Gateway.

Configure and manage API throttling, quota management, security policies, and IAM roles in AWS API Gateway.

Implement security best practices for application and API development.

Monitor application and API performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

Drive engineering best practices with a focus on automation and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Mentor and support junior developers within the team.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
