We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Desktop & Hardware Engineer to support our growing IT infrastructure.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop & Hardware Engineer to provide end-user IT support, manage desktops and laptops, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 desktop support to internal users.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Install and configure operating systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus, and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Support meeting room AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and displays.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, warranty records, and hardware documentation.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for warranty claims and hardware replacements.
- Perform regular system health checks, updates,



and preventive maintenance.
- Provide first-level support for Microsoft 365 applications and Outlook.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees by preparing IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and endpoint protection standards.

- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as manage engine.
- Basic networking knowledge (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).

Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / Any Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Willingness to support users both remotely and onsite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
