: IT Software Senior Asset Management Analyst – Lead Programmer Analyst (Exp: 6 Yrs to 8 Yrs) The IT Software Senior Asset Management Analyst is responsible for handling the day-to-day platform operations of SAMPro framework. This role involves creating integrations, quality assurance reviews and configuring SAMPro features.

The position requires effective communication and collaboration with other analysts, developers and IT stakeholders of the framework. In addition to these responsibilities, the Software Asset Management Sr. will provide related support to other (hardware, cloud) Asset Management staff within ServiceNow.

Essential Requirements – SAM Analyst

- Experience should have 6 to 8 years of experience with SAMPro required.
- Experience with QA is preferred.
- IT Asset Management or IT Procurement experience is helpful.
- Any experience with ITAM or HAM in additional to SAM is preferred.
- Related experience is preferrable in a large-scale technology environment required.
- Basic understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) concepts, software licensing, and compliance.
- Experience with ITSM/SAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro (preferred).
- ServiceNow CSA certification preferred; additional developer certifications will be considered, including:
- Certified Application Developer.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in SAM.
- Knowledge of software license types (User-based, Device-based, Subscription, Concurrent, Consumption-based).




- Ability to analyze and reconcile software entitlement and inventory data.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including Vendor Management, Procurement, IT Support, and Audit teams.
- Understanding of SaaS applications and license lifecycle management.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
- Knowledge of software audits, renewals, and true-up processes is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

- ServiceNow SAM Pro certification or relevant SAM certification.
- Experience with software vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Figma, Miro, Postman, Adobe, tableau, Alteryx.
- Knowledge of automation and reporting tools (Power BI, ServiceNow Reporting).
- Understanding of SSO/SAML integrations and software usage tracking.
- ITAM or similar discipline certification preferred.
